Lettin the students choose the songs (but with teacher consorship):

When I have worked with songs in class in secondary school, I have had the students choose the songs they want to study. I do this by first setting the total number of songs I think we will have time to work on in a given period - usually a semester. Then they do a pyramid brainstorming plus voting so that we have this number of songs.

I warn my students ahead of time (before they begin the brainstorming) that I will be "censoring" the songs in the following two ways: 1) if I cannot understand the words to the song with the words in writing before me, it's too difficult to do in class and 2) if the song is basically music, we will not work with it. (I have reached these two censorship criteria after having students choose songs which had one of these features.) I tell the class about this "censorship" when I first present the idea of working with songs because it saves "disgustos posteriores". The students must also bring me the music and the words to the songs they choose. Then I prepare the song at home (although, see below).

this is a presentation of our school, in which you can see children playing in the playground with the teachers. Also you can find the different classrooms. they are big with tables and chairs and of course the blackboard. The figure of the teacher is really important because all depends on him or her. We want to make a unify school in which children can learn a lot and develop all they know with other children. In general children are happy to be together and to enjoy with other children.

The next we did was that we tried to learn new vocabulary and we learnt easy words like animals, plants,colours...
an easy manner to start learning words in english because it was new for those children:) .

Numbers are very important to know and is the starting point for children. they start learning colours, the alphabet... First they learn until the number 10 and it is easy but then they try to memorize and repeat. Secondly we teach them to write correctly and it is a bit difficult for them. The most important is that with the alphabet and with the numbers we try to spend and enjoy a great time with them because we sing many times and it is a fantastic time for them and for us!

animals

this is a video that contains different kind of animals. It is an exercise for children in which they can practise the listening and at the same time they repeat its sounds. it is efficient and useful for them because with this method they can recognize easily the animal they have heard.
we have practised in class and the result has been satisfactory so I recommend it to other children because they will learn and develop rapidly their memory and intellectual skills.

We have created this original woki to show how fantastic is learning english while you are doing other things like singing, writing, cooking...you can learn a lot and improve your english pronounciation that is very important. You can choose your character if you want to be a man or a woman and then changing him or her the clothes and it is very fun! they talk to you in english and you only have to answer him.

This is a webquest with the topic of travelling to London. I think it is very interesting to know more about the city, costums, food...
England is a big country and with a lot of diversity that differenciate from Spain.
The tasks we have designed and planned are very easy to identify and to relate with a famous city.

HALLOWEEN!

As many webquests I have done this is other but related to the pumpkins. We know that is a festivity proper to Halloween and children enjoy a lot giving and asking for sweets. It is a complex activity with a series of steps to follow and children will learn a lot finally. Webquests are interesting and educative methods for children.
